The only reason that they have a 1 star review, is that I couldn?t put 0 stars. First off, the out of province inspection is about $65, whereas all other mechanics charge around $150. So I thought I was getting a great deal. They tell me the outer tie rod ends need replacing and they would charge almost $700. Blaskin & Lane would charge $400. So they lower the price of the inspection and WAY overcharge for parts and labour. Not only this, but the tie rod ends were perfectly fine with no give, according to Blaskin & Lane! They did not need replacing. So they lied to try to take my money. And even further... they didn?t even find that one of the front coils on the suspension were broken in two pieces!! This is a huge safety concern and they missed this! Definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. 1. Bait and switch. 2. Lie about what needs fixing to make money on overpriced parts and labour. 3. Miss a real safety issue that could cause our vehicle serious problems. Would absolutely not recommend this mechanic to anyone. Ever. |

Mark is a very nice guy and even offered me a ride back to the LRT. But the guys at the reception are very rude and disrespectful to customers. I specifically told them I wildness rather wait because the Transit will take me 2 hrs to go home but they said the car won?t be ready till 12:30 and it was just 7:30 am yet. I went back in transit and before I reached back home.....they called saying the car is ready. Exactly what I asked them in the first place. When I asked about the same after another 2 hr ride back to the place.....the guy said that it?s more convenient for him to quote a later time as then no one can say that the car was ready later than informed.... The guys should quote proper service times.....there is a LOT of difference between 2 hrs and 5 hrs.....respect people?s times..... Also.....the guys at reception later told me that the paperwork will take 30 mins and I should not expect everybody to work to my time schedule.....that so just awesomely rude and unfair..... Kindly get them trained on how to deal with customers as I for sure will never be coming back to such rude and insolent people to service my car. |
